Exciting New Project Update

Having clients choose Estes repeatedly is one demonstration of our Advocacy in action. We are excited to start new projects for four repeat clients.

The first of two projects for Trinity Health System is the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) upgrades at West Campus. This is a collection of smaller work to comply with IDPH code changes. Start date was April 2007 and completion date was June 2007. Estimator is Randy Fuller, Project Manager is Brian Wicklund and Superintendent is Nick Wall.

The second and larger project, Trinity's Private Bed Initiative, is remodeling for floors 4, 6 and 7 at West Campus. The project will be completed in three separate phases and will include transforming existing office space and semi-private rooms into private rooms. Challenges of this project are infection control and life safety requirements; however Estes has built an exceptional reputation for work under these conditions. Start date was June 2007 and completion date is March 2008. Estimator is Brian Rossmiller, Project Manager is Brian Wicklund and the Superintendent is Nick Wall.

Augustana College has chosen Estes for their Carlsson Hall remodeling project. This will be Estes's 4th project with Augustana, and Estes is thrilled to be selected again due to the successes on previous projects. Carlsson Hall is a complex remodeling that will consist of transforming existing men's dormitories into office and classroom space. Estes will also be constructing an addition of two classrooms. The challenge with Carlsson Hall is preserving the historic structure while completing such a complex renovation. Start date is June 2007 and completion date is June 2008. Estimator is Brian Rossmiller, Project Manager is Steve Frank and Superintendent is Jerod Engler.

The Med Ventures project is a 7,500 square foot wood framed building with brick and stone veneers of which 3,000 square feet will be occupied by the Quad City Periodontics medical facility, a new practice for Dr. Mike Franzman. Start date was April 2007 and completion date is September 2007. Estimator is Blake Burns, Project Manager is Steve Frank and Superintendent is Tom Black.
