Selected as Construction Manager for the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House a 16-bed residential hospice facility of 24,000 square feet. The construction is wood framed construction with the purpose of this design is to maintain a home like feel. There is a chapel, a dining room, and several family gathering spaces, two of which will have fireplaces. This facility will encompass approximately 18,000 square feet of ground level space, and approximately 6,300 square feet of lower level space, which will be in the form of a walkout basement. At the southern edge of the property there is a lake complete with a water feature and appropriate landscaping. The construction cost was approximately $5,000,000.
