Cedar Rapids Ice Arena and Veteran's Memorial Stadium Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Selected as CM-Constructor to build an "ultra-fast track", 100,000 square foot $12 million facility with Olympic and USHL Ice Arena. USHL side has a 4,000-seat arena with skyboxes. Project was designed and built-in approximately 7 1/2 months through close working relationship with the architect, HGA and the City of Cedar Rapids. Provided in-depth pre-construction services for cost and constructability control. Building required knowledge for constructing temperature control and a humidity constant environment, which could perform with a large temperature differential between the outside and inside.
